As part of my effort to encourage walking in Berkeley, I conceived of a solution for those who like to walk to the grocery store, but find themselves saddled with heavy bags when finished. A poster suggests to shoppers and drivers the idea of a ride share options in the walker's direction. The idea generated much interest at the Oregon street's Berkeley Bowl.
